The Watchful Eye Oracle

When I created my first card for The Watchful Eye Oracle, it wasn’t really a card at all. It was a page in my journal, a fun colorful entry created with colored pencils and an idea that seemed at first to appear out of nowhere. That was until the next night came, and the night after that, and so on. One after another these ideas came to me and I sketched and colored them. I even wrote meanings for them on the pages opposite each one.

Some of the “guides” as I call them appeared as beings. Some came to me in the forms of inanimate objects brought to life. And the rest of them – they came as nothing tangible at all – nothing, but still something. They all had something in common, though. They all had watchful eyes. They all possessed the ability to see that which we cannot, or that which we refuse to see. And this is what makes them so special and even better yet – so helpful. It’s also how this oracle got its name, The Watchful Eye Oracle.

After the “watchful eye guides” began to take over my journal I knew that they they had a bigger purpose. Joined together they were an oracle. Not long after starting TheWatchful Eye Project, many changes started taking place in my life. With little time to devote to my art, I put the project on hold and placed the journal on my bookshelf where it would remain for several years. It wasn’t until recently that I heard some familiar voices whispering to me from the shelf and I knew that it was time for me to finish what I had started. As I flipped through the colorful pages of my journal I felt a sense of creative urgency beginning to surge – I needed to get this done.

The Watchful Eye Oracle consists of 44 full-color cards bearing the images of many guides. Disguised as whimsical beings, objects, and some things that we cannot touch or see at all, these guides are actually very powerful, wise, and insightful protectors. What’s more? They not only alert you to those things you cannot see or those that you refuse to see (consciously or subconsciously), they can also help you develop your own gift of insight if you allow them to by working with them on a regular basis. Their messages are easy to understand, and the oracle itself can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be. You can use it to do any kind of reading imaginable.

I am a self-admitted oracle card junkie. I love cards – oracle or tarot – and I can never get enough of them. I will say, though, that I’ve always struggled to find something that I’ve truly resonated with completely. I resonate with The Watchful Eye Oracle because I created it. It’s personal, meaningful, and I identify with it on a very deep level. When any artist creates an oracle or tarot deck I imagine they probably feel the same way, and this is most likely why they want to share their decks with the world. Well, I, too, want to share my oracle deck with you! Self-published in May 2014, I present to you, The Watchful Eye Oracle.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

The Watchful Eye Oracle includes 44 full-color cards, an instruction booklet, and a Selenite crystal in an organza pouch (for cleansing & charging your cards). If you’d like to know how to create your own oracle cards, Kelly offers a class via the Love & Light Energy School of Energy Medicine.
